| I believe when somebody we love passes they can give a sign they are ok.. So I have to share my story... My grandpa passed end of last week and I was my grandpa's world... You could not even reach the pedestal that this man held me on. He loved Cracker Barrel and their fried apples so we used to take her there all the time before his mind went. Well we stopped as a family to eat at CB on the way home tonight.. None of us ordered fried apples but the waitress brought a bowl to the table and said I don't know why I brought these none of you ordered them... In heart I feel that was a sign he was letting us know he is ok.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | How awesome is that . . !! Brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it because from reading your entire story about your grandpa Jack I know how much you loved him. What better way to for him to let you know that he is watching over you and I know that you needed that . . for real needed it. Don't we all !

| I believe in the signs too. When my Grandmother passed away, the morning after, I went outside to get the newspaper. A crane landed on our neighbor's house, right in front of our house! We have a painting that my uncle painted, it's of 4 cranes, they symbolize longevity. There is a lake that's by our house where we used to live over 10 years ago, so it was from that lake, but I've never seen a crane around the neighborhood the 5 years we lived there. I believe my Grandma was telling me that she's ok & have moved on. So I believe your Grandpa was telling you & your family the same.

| I believe that too. My grandma loved cardinals and since she passed we have had a red bird that sits on the trellis in front of our window almost everyday.

For me, I am especially touched by these stories today, since we drove 12 hours yesterday to attend a memorial service for a dear friend today. Hope we see a sign such as you three have described. | |||

| Alisha, I do believe your Grandpa sent a communication of a beloved memory to you. There are many of us who have seen signs from our loved ones.

| After my dad passed I kept seeing butterflies by me. It would swoop in front of me, by be, one time it landed on my shoulder. I would see one around me every now and then for a couple of months. One time is was at my moms and we were talking about my dad on her patio. I noticed a butterfly fluttering around about twenty feet from us. As my mom talked I couldn't take my eyes off that butterfly. It made it's way over to us and I just smiled at my mom. We watched the butterfly as it flew into her house through her open patio door, just a couple of feet in, and then it came back out and flew off. I often wonder if it was wishful thinking or a sign.

| After battling him losing his memory slowly the last 15-16 years that single bowl of fried apples helped give me the closure I needed.. He is ok he made it the other side and he can be with his wife of 50 years again! I know he will always watch over me, no doubt whatsoever in that.
