| Irene, I just saw this. Yoga and Pilates are different, but I couldn't tell you scientifically what the differences are. We have Windsor Pilates. I feel the stuff with the abs, but I didn't notice a big change overall. Maybe I'm doing the poses wrong or something. A friend of mine went to school for dance and they had to take Pilates class, so it must do something. My mom uses the Firm workouts. They're tough, but if you want muscle tone, they'll do it! Please don't tell me you're going to add workouts to school, work, family, and puppies- you'll have to give up sleeping! Good luck! |

| Hi Irene! I am naturally thin and have no muscle tone either! I have tried both Yoga and Pilates, and personally I liked Pilates better. To me, Yoga seemed to be more about meditation, but Pilates really worked my muscles. Or maybe I wasn't trying Yoga that was hard enough, I don't know. I just thought I'd give my opinion! Let me know what works out for you! Jenny |
