| HELP! DFW dog sitter needed! Oh YT, I need help quickly. Of course nothing ever goes as planned- I am getting married and going on my honey moon Oct 1st-9th and a friend of mine from the shelter was going to watch my 2 pups but she got pneumonia and her doctor has advised her to rest for 8 weeks and now she can't watch my dogs any more! I am freaking out! I really do not ant to board them. Are their any DFW yt'er that might babysit or know anyone that would? I would ideally like to visit this person a couple times before I leave which would be in the next couple of weeks. I would be willing to compensate anyone willing to do this and could bring back souvenirs from Disneyworld for them. I would love to keep them together but worse case scenario if I could at least find someone to watch Molli I could maybe have my MIL watch Chibi (Molli is way too mischievous for MIL to watch). I would be forever grateful and in your debt! Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee someone help me

| I would totally help you out...but I am a little ways away! I think like 3 hours away. I would much rather have a YTer sit my dogs than a random person from craigslist lol. Maybe ask your groomer? I know you work at a shelter so you must have asked them all already...eek. Disneyland though!!! Have fun and congratulations girl!

| aw you guys are so sweet for offering! I wish y'all lived closer- though a road trip may not be out the question if I can't figure anything else out. I groom my dogs myself and my vet only boards cats. I am just freaking out, I really don't know what to do. If it were only a couple days I might think a pet sitter or dog walker might work but totaled up we are basically going to be gone 9 days! I don't see how an empty house would be much better than a kennel. I would be so sad for them to be alone for that long. I would rather have someone keep them at their house with them, letting them be part of the family like they are used to but I am out here in Texas without any family for them to be part of

| Maybe try posting this in the regional section? Although it isn't a very high traffic section.... I do know there are lots of DFW area YTers. I'd keep bumping this once in a while so they can see.

| I know you would if you could. I am trying to think of who else lives over by me. It seems everyone who would be a candidate has something going on. My MIL just bought a house and will be moving right after we leave so she is completely out, my other friend from the shelter who might have done it just broke her leg! I dunno, I wonder if this is something trying to tell me not to go

| Ok, the beautiful, talented, wonderful Thuy has graciously offered to watch Molli but Chibi still needs someone. He is on a special diet but otherwise is fairly easy. He is a Velcro dog and would probably benefit from being with someone that is home a lot and will let him snuggle with them. He is good with other dogs but prefers people. He is a sensitive little guy that is just the love of my life and I just can't bear to leave him in a kennel. I usually have a lot of people that would take care of them but it is just the perfect storm of craziness right now and I don't have much time left before I have to go. Just look at that little face:

| My MIL is no longer moving right when we are leaving so she will be able to watch Chibi so now I don't have to worry about either of my babies. Again YT amazes me with their kindness and generosity. A sincere thanks to all that offered helping. I often feel so far away from my family and friends it is nice to feel like I have friends out here. Thank you all so much! Stay tuned for wedding and vacation pictures
