| Dogs - 2, Pool Critters - 0 I let the boys out this morning to do their deed and I saw something swimming in the pool. Small critter. So I quietly went to the gate and opened it, but not quietly enough because both dogs ran through it quick as possible into the pool area. They like to hunt/patrol the pool for frogs and do it all the time. Well they spotted the thing swimming and in 1 second were IN the pool getting it. Fletch got it, we got him out and he dropped it back into the pool. It was a mouse! It didn't survive. While we were getting it out, we hear freaking out again and splashes. They were back in the pool getting a frog! LOL Get them out, get the frog, it didn't survive either! I should feel bad.... but I'm kind of proud of my boys! Their instincts really kicked in! RIP Mouse and Frog!

| Well it was a gold star day for your boys! That would be heaven for Gracie Ruth. Swimming & hunting combined. She would have been one very happy little girl.

| My boys patrol the pool daily when it's open. Its really quite funny! They get EVERYTHING that is in it that is still alive. Bugs, frogs, mice, lizards. They also will chase moths, crickets, grasshoppers, toads and unfortunately our bunny (who WILL NOT go back in its cage or be caught!) I just worry a little bit if they do catch the bunny, but they are friendly honestly, they are always wagging their stubs at the bunny. I think they know it's a pet and not something to hunt.
