| Walmart accounts.. Just an FYI for people with Walmart accounts. Friday night I received an email saying my order has been canceled- knowing I haven't placed an order I was concerned. I called Walmart to see what was going on and it appeared someone hacked in my account and tried making a purchase using my CC#. The order did not go through due to lack of accounting information ( I think it was the 3 number code) The Rep told me there was a hold on that card and she deleted it from my account. I called my CC company, closed that card and I'm being issued a new card/ account. I've had that card since I was 18, never ever has something like this happened- I went to research and found out that Walmart accounts have been hacked A LOT! Even if you don't save your account, go make sure. My MIL never saves her CC number online, she went to check her account on Walmart.com and sure enough it had been saved!! Thankfully the order did not go through ($350.00 mini Ipad), which I would have been pretty steamed because I dont even have an Ipad!! LoL

| I'm glad the order didn't go through. Scary and really annoying! My Citibank card was hit twice when Citibank was hacked.

| I got one of those email from Walmart for a laptop back in 2008 or 2009 about my "laptop order" for a Sony Vaio for $800 or $900! and wanting to verify my shipping address. I didn't click on it. Called my credit card companies and no such order had been charged to any of them and I had a watch placed on all of the accounts. Called Walmart online Customer Service and they had no such order so my email from "Walmart" was a total fake just wanting me to click on it. Thankfully nothing ever came of it and I had no more fake "Walmart" emails. But I was scared for what might come next for the longest time.

I recently changed all my passwords and can barely remember how to sign in any place but they are tough passwords for the most part and my email pass and banking pass are so hard to get into I barely can get it typed in right. Took me 6 tries this morning! My fingers just don't want to type all that meaningless nothing! lol. And my first password was so simple. It was my nickname. Period.

| Citibank removed all of the charges -- $7,500 worth! This was a couple of years ago when I used the card for small things and would pay it off each month. Imagine my surprise when I opened the bill and saw that huge balance! The thieves used it mainly to buy bathroom fixtures at a place in Pennsylvania.
