| I just wanted to write a little something for you Lord of the Rings fans :) For those of you who like The Lord of the Rings like I do, I decided to write my own cast list if the Fellowship of the ring had dogs playing the nine Fellowship members. Basicslly, The Fellowship of the ring, dog edition Four yorkies would be the four hobbits (Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin, because yorkies remind me of hobbits in that they have the same spunkiness and laid back happiness on life. Plus, their size . Yorkies and hobbits are definitely the definition of big things coming in small packages.) A Shetland sheepdog would be perfect for the part of Gandalf A greyhound would be Legolas A German shepherd would be Aragorn And maybe, a chocolate lab for Boromir and a daschund would be Gimli? Anyway, I hope some of you enjoyed my light hearted post It's nothing much, I just wanted to combine my love of dogs and The Lord of the Rings. Last edited by Narnia_fan7; 06-18-2013 at 07:29 PM. |

| You know I couldn't click on this thread fast enough when I saw the title, LOL! What a very cute idea. So, who among the YT pups would be Frodo, Merry, and Pippin? Sam's registered name is Rosie's My Dear Samwise the Brave. Quote:

I'm still trying to get a grip on a Doxie as Gimli. Just can't quite picture it. Maybe a Scottie?
