| What's the best/worst gift you've gotten? After reading Kristys thread about " nose hair clippers".. I'm wondering what is the best Christmas or even Birthday,, or whatever,, gift you've gotten. And what is the worst gift you have ever received?? And WHY? I would say the best gift EVER was the Birthday gift of Bailey from my boyfriend,, doesn't get much better than that. I'm gonna have to ponder my worst gift for awhile,, I'll get back to ya..

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | LOL !!! I SO agree Kristy's nose hair trimmers topped the gifts I've received thru the years : - this is an easy one from me - my family mostly only gives gifts for the kids.... but each of the adults sort of gets a gift....( I usually get REAL gifts for everyone ...but this was a very bad year) last year I got a wooden spoon. Ask me what it's for and I honestly can't tell you. It looked like a baby spoon only made of wood. and yes...I do know it's for display purposes - but a spoon ? My husband scored this year he got Homemade Toffee - and it's yummy !

| LOL! Even I would be insulted if someone got me nose hair trimmers At first I thought Kristy was joking around...but now I don't think she was! The best gift I have ever received was the free gift of eternal life through Jesus No other I have ever gotten or will get could compare to that and the worst gift I have ever gotten was a TREADMILL!!! That is right up there with the freakin nose hair trimmers, LOL! Like I needed a clue or something

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Don't think I can top the nosehair trimmer or the spoon, but that broken present this year kinda takes the cake. I also received a snowman (duh) that came from Food Lion, (that's the grocery store. I saw that ugly a-- thing for a month before Christmas), it was painted by blind, Chinese people. You know what I mean.....the eyes are off center or it looks like he has three.....definitely in the beginning painter class. Disclaimer....I offended any blind people, Chinese people, or people in beginning painting classes, I do apologize. I was trying to illustrate my point

| My parents are incredibly giving, so I don't even know what my favorite gift is. I got a gorgeous watch for christmas, Movado! That is a defininte favorite for me. List of Worsts.....All Christmas Gifts - All from my fathers mom - Nana: * The year I got random sheets, ahhh a great one when you're 15 * The year I was 13 and got 6 colored wife beaters, from a yard sale * The sewing kit * The Barbie ornaments * The JC Penny sweat set in XXL, although I have never weighed over 120 lbs in my life - and my sister got a matching set too! I think I was 18 * Best! - the year my mom told her she should just send us savings bonds or gift certificates from then on. I love my Nana to death, but shoping has never been her forte.

| The best (early) Christmas gift was Gwen Stefani concert tickets this year (early December) It was such a great and unexpected gift and I will forever cherish the memory. The worst gift ever was on my 30th B-day it was a used poppori / lotion set that was really old and gooey. (I have no idea what the person was thinking.)

IF I WAS 10!! NOT 36! I might have to DIG it out,,and post a picture so you can get the full affect!

| Worst: My aunt & uncle sent me a certificate saying so much money was donated in my name. A nice thought, but when your ten and expecting a sweater (they always got us sweaters) it's a real bummer. Best: It's so hard to pick a best I've been blessed with a thoughtful family and a loving husband that pays attention. I would say one of the top ones is our first christmas together (before we were married) my hubby (was boyfriend at the time) got me a sapphire necklace that I just loved.

My Mom just told me a few days ago on a news report that she heard that Grandparents give the worst gifts because they usually don't know what is popular or "in" . No offense to any grandma's here cause I know a lot of grandmas who are TOTALLY in the know about what's hip! This is a great thread!!!
