| This happened 7 miles from my house thought a bomb went off. The whole house shook and I almost fell down! Warning: Contains some bad language (not too bad) http://youtu.be/VvJFe_JHEDo

| Yes, we're fine. I think they're still working on getting the fire put out though. A number of train cars derailed too. Only the driver of the tractor trailer is in the hospital... I think he's okay.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I'm glad to know you're alright. Its amazing noone was killed. I'm sure the authorities will be busy in that area most of the night. It unnerved me watching it.

| Very scary!! I'm sure you did feel it. One of my apartments in Chicago was near train tracks and I know how loud a freight train can be when it stays on the tracks. Derailed cars and explosions I can imagine are even louder. After you thought it was a bomb, did you think another earthquake like our last one on the East Coast?

| It was a rough day, wasn't it Kathy? OMGosh, the explosion was so loud! I called hubby and he came home early. For awhile they didn't know what chemicals were burning, and I was worried if I had to get my mom and the four dogs (we are dog sitting one) out of there, then I'd need to use George's 4 seater truck (I have a two seater car). Thank goodness the fire was contained before it ignited the adjoining cars that had the toxic chemicals in them. The wind was blowing away from us, so were didn't get any of the smoke and chemicals. It took CFX 3hours to identify the chemicals involved. Geez, by then people could have gotten pretty sick. I'm thankful that all was ok, but my nerves were rattled for awhile.
