| I have central air, but because I sleep during the day and it is hotter than hades in north Georgia most of the year, I have a window unit in my bedroom that I picked up at Lowes for not a terribly large amount. It has save me several times when the ac has pooped out. Since it is a holiday weekend, I would highly suggest popping out to walmart or lowes and picking up a window unit. Lifesaver!!!!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Girl you better. It sneaks up quick. Wish we were still having those cooler days that we had at the beginning of May. I really can't complain, so far we've been a lot cooler than what is the norm for this time of year.

| YW. Really easy to install, too. Just don't drop it out the window (did that once...oops...). Plug in, turn on. Done. One room cool, anyway.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I actually had to turn the heat on last night. It is a little cold and was rainy.

Steph, you have my sympathy. Our a/c went out on a day when it was 100+ degrees and I had poison oak all over me. Even with emergency service, it took the better part of a day to have it fixed.

| Ours went out 2 years ago in August, and I was pregnant....with twins!!! Hubby wasted no time having it fixed. He was tired of hearing me complain after about an hour.
