| Ohh do it! I'd love to see before and after pictures I donated 10 inches to locks of love a few years ago. I'm supposed to be doing it again soon (if I don't chicken out!).

| Good for you! I did that one time when I was younger, my hair was like down to my waist. I cut it all off and donated it!

| Wow! Looking forward to seeing your new style. What a sweet thing to do to donate your hair. My mom lost her hair when she had chemo for breast cancer. She appreciated having a custom wig made of real human hair to match her lost hair.

| How exciting! My middle daughter currently has hair that goes down to the middle of her butt. She is 5 and her hair is dark, sort of thick, and very managable. She says that when she is ready to get it cut she wants to give it to a kid that can't have hair. So some day we'll take the plunge and cut it off! Give us pictures and details of how it went for you!

| oh... you are a hero to someone!!! We did this at my school/ club activity. It was done as a group and was really cool. I have always wore my hair really long, but not that I am older I don't know if I will ever grow it long enough to do locks of love!!

| Awesome! I've always wanted to do it, but I've been dying my hair since I was 12 because my natural color is puke. I have a friend that does this every few years

| I did it in December. I only had 10 inches... barely had enough, but I knew my hair was not going to get longer so I did it. I was glad to get rid of my nappy gross hair LOL and was happy to do it for a good cause! Remember.... it'll grow back! You're gift is wonderful, generous, kind and compassionate!

| You can donate it now. They will take any type of hair. I dye mine and I do keratin treatment.

| What a wonderful and heroic thing you did. I know people get attached to their hair, but in my opinion, long hair that just hangs there with no style isn't that great. I LOVE your after picture. Your hair has a beautiful style and you look so much better and younger. Congratulations!
