| My son had a staph infection in his knee. Staph is very serious He ended up with a 5 day hospital stay to get IV antibiotics. His had a big "bump" come up that looked like it had a black center. Definitely go see a doctor if you think it could be staph.

| When I have skin problems that scab and heal, they tend to get little tiny blisters (maybe bumps?) sometimes. I'm not sure why. However, if it is concerning you this way, go with your gut - can't hurt to get it checked out. Any sort of infection will just keep going without treatment so better safe than sorry. Let us know what they say, ok?

| Yes it is a type of Staph (2 dr's each called it 2 diff types) I am on a prescription antibiotic and yesterday i went in and demanded a topical on top of it as it seemed to get worse or more bumps were emerging. So now i'm on both twice a day. I've never had Staph. Now itching anything is freaking me out I'm going to take a benadryl tonight so hopefully i can sleep if it wards of some of the itchyness.. |

| I am glad you got some meds. I had a staph infection one time, i think I must have had the staph in my mails and broke skin when scratching a bug bite. It left a scar so be careful

| Two of my sons got that from mosquitoes when we lived in FL. and the doctor gave us prescription cream but it didn't work, so I just took them to the beach to let them play in the water and it worked to dry those up.
