| Wanting different breed of dogs?? Is it just me or does anyone else have a list of dog breeds they would like to own someday? Not any time soon or at the same time, but someday I think I would like to have a.... 1.Chihuahua (was close to getting one many years ago) 2.Doberman (will most likely get in a few years) 3.Papillon (was close to getting one a few years ago) 4.Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (LOVE these dogs but will only get one when I have a well financed job as these dogs are generally unhealthy from heart issues) 5.Skye Terrier (rare, hard to find) 6.Great Dane (only if I was married to a nice strong man, lol) 7.Poodle (standard or toy, so smart and sweet) 8.Golden retriever (had one in the past, love them) 9.Briard (hmm, do I really want that much hair?) Now I know I probably won't ever own all of these but I can see owning the first four in the distant future and would love to own all the others but I don't think its possible because I don't want to own them all the same time. I guess these are just breeds of dogs I really like and would love to have some day. That being said, no matter what dogs I have in the future, I think I will always have a cocker and a yorkie, they are my favorite breeds and I always want one in my life but I do love other breeds as well, these two are just my absolute favorite. Anyone else ever think they will want another breed in the future?

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Most definitely do I have a list!!! In order of most desired ... 1) Irish Wolfhound 2) Sable or Black German Shepherd 3) Scottish Terrier 4) Airedale Terrier or Welsh Terrier 6) American Staffordshire Terrier 7) Border Collie 8) Giant Schnauzer (black) I won't be able to get a third dog until after I finish college and go through training for my career choice, but once I settle down from all of that I will probably adopt an Irish Wolfhound. I know that I want to one day most definitely own a German Shepherd. I don't know if I will ever get the chance to own all of those breeds like I want to, but I think I will always have a small dog (Yorkshire terrier). I like the list of breeds that you have! I almost adopted a Skye terrier instead of Dexter. There is a breeder in my area who has been breeding here for a very long time. They are such unique looking dogs!

| I had a sheltie once and loved her dearly! She was an incredible dog. She died around the age of 9 and I dream of another one some day - what I am afraid I really want is Ginger back....which is not possible - When I look at Sheltie websites/rescues I tend to look for one that looks exactly like she did!! So, I am not sure what to do. I have Charlie and an English Springer now plus I'm dog sitting for my daughter's malti poo while she's is Africa working on the Mercy Ship. I have a full house so I can only dream!! :-) |

| My list is way too long!! Of course, a yorkie is still on that list because I don't have one yet.. But I am interested in many other breeds. I volunteer at the SPCA and have had the opportunity to work with quite a few interesting breeds!! I have got to say, I would love to own a leonberger one day. Such gentle giants. But for now I am waiting for my Biewer!!

| does anyone know if a toy schnauzer is really a breed or is it like the teacup yorkie thing. I saw one in NY and it was the cutest dog. I would like to add it to a list of wish dogs, but not if it is just poor breeders breeding runts. I also would add to the list Biewer or Parti yorkie. Beddington Terrier (sp)
