| Christmas ideas I was cruising another thread that had a lot of mentioingg of "chiristmas is what you make it"..... I have a HUGE family (my grandmother had THIRTEEN children, and all my aunts and uncles have kids of their own.... so buyin gfor everyone is a little much) i wanted to offer out an idea.... a gift exchange We do it every year, everyone that wants to participate brings a $25 gift on christmas day and we put them all in a pile in teh living room. We draw numbers and go in that order of who gets to choose a present, presents can be "stolen" from another family member as many as 2x and then it is "frozen"... We also do a "hand made" exchange in which everyone makes something and we do the exchange (i usually do my art) and the same rules apply..... I just thought i would share, it seems like a lot of people are tight for the holidays and this exchange thing is FUN... the family boos and cheers each other when a gift is stolen and there is a lot of laughing ect... (a few beers help too....lol) |

| Wow, haha. I would be pretty ticked off if I picked something I really wanted, and someone stole it from me! Sounds like a lot of fun, though.
