| McDonald's Shamrock Shake So I've never had one! But it's that time of year that people are going crazy for them! Sooooo a small one has 416 calories and 9.8 grams of fat. Is it worth the complete undoing of my workout tonight to try one for the first time ever? I'm thinking I can split a small with my hubby who also has never had one. So what makes them so good to people?

| I've never had one either, but my oldest started scoping out the local stores weeks ago on the lookout for them. She loves anything mint. She had her first one of the year last night, and is bugging me to pick her up on Friday because McD's is just down the street from the high school. The reason they are such a big deal is only because they're only available for a short period every year.

| They are soooo horribly BAD for you. I mean crazzzzyyyy amount of calories and fat. I wish they could/would make them a little healthier. I guess Im going to go another year w/o tasting one because I just cannot make myself get 500 calories in a small one!!!

| I don't think I would take the hit on the calories for one, they are good but not GREAT. As another poster mentioned it is because they limit the time they are available. Now Mint Girl Scout Cookies are so worth the calories.
