| No thread about Christopher Dorner here? Just throwing it out there..... Personally I think there is much more to the story than "they" aren't telling us. Makes me trust the LAPD so much more Gonna go get me one of those fire proof IDs. You know, like the one that was found in San Diego Co, and then miraculously was found in a burned to the ground house in Big Bear, but totally readable? Cool!

| That was so scary! I hope the families on his list can breathe a little easier now that he's gone. Their lives are forever altered.

YT 2000 Club Member | I am sure he did more than just lie about his supervisor. I have great respect for all of law enforcement. I am the wife of a retired CHP officer and I know today out on the road it is very dangerous. So many packing weapons and having no respect for the law or other people. I am happy Mr. Dorner is off the street and not killing any more officers or family members. |

Thanks be to all those that go out each day to be there in time of need and help to keep and protect others when needed. I have many in our family dedicated to being police officers and know the great risks involved each day of their life. I pray comfort for the entire Macay family, his friends and all whom will feel loss without him. God now holds him forever in HIS loving care. Hugs, Patti and Jack | |

| Whatever Dorner might or might not have witnessed another officer do and might have unfairly happened to him or not, he was a true madman and I'm wondering about the truthfulness of any of his supposed allegations after his recent horrors perpetuated on fellow officers and innocent family members. His subsequent behavior speaks a great deal as to his judgment and reasoning ability and anyone with no more morals than he had might just lie about a fellow officer to achieve something he wanted. I'm so glad they got this guy and he can't run about dispensing his one-sided brand of justice on public servants and their families. I realize that police and those in authority often can do terrible things to those in their custody and those that report if might get ostracized, suspended, fired, etc., for reporting it and that is wrong, wrong, wrong. Still, nothing can justify what this idiot did and the precious lives he took and the pain he caused the family and friends of his victims as he alone became judge, jury and executioner. Hopefully for all those that wonder if he was railroaded, a review of the investigation and closure of the case and his firing will eventually satisfy them that basically their city government works as well as any such behemoth governing system run by people can.

| I don't know where the id report came from. His id was found near the Mexican border. There are four decent people who are now dead because of him: one a daughter and her fiance; two more were police officers. It's easy to criticize those who put their lives at stake on a regular basis, but to criticize the whole because of the faults of a few is wrong. There are now two law enforcement families without fathers to provide for them and that is what is sad.
