| who started a diet Dieting is the number one New Year's Resolution, so I am jumping on the bandwagon I am so unhappy with how I let myself get so out of shape. Two years ago I was boxing, doing cardio, weights and power yoga, then I let some injuries from over doing it get me down and I stopped doing most forms of exercise except LOL working my jaw and right elbow. I wound up gaining over 30 lbs and my fat clothes are to tight. My DH says I now snore, I sometimes feel out of breath just doing normal chores, and I can tell it is effecting my tendency towards varicose veins I started Atkins yesterday and plan to be very strict for what they call the induction period for the first two to three weeks. Quick loss for me at the beginning will be very motivational. After starting with Atkins I will move towards Weight Watches which is something that is easier to live with it. I also have started back at the gym. Unfortunately for me the Bally's Health Club that I had been going to for over 25 years closed this time last year. The gym is a key part in my weight loss since it has always been an important part of my day both for heath reasons as well as for social interactions. I work from home so there are many days my gym friends would be about the only people except for my husband that I would have personal contact with. I think that is why I spend a lot of time on YT, you all replaced my gym friends and unfortunately helped expand my butt and waistline LOL to me nothing is as comforting as YT with a side of snack food I have not yet found a gym I am as comfortable with as I was at Bally's but many of the people at the old place have signed up with Planet Fitness so I am giving that a whirl. This will be the third gym I am trying in the last year, so my fingers are crossed I will like this one. So is anyone else starting a weight loss program, if so maybe we can offer each other some support and motivation

| My Dr has me on phentermine so it helps with hunger but sadly it does not stop my bread addiction.

| I gained 3 lbs. but 2 are gone so the remaining pound should be gone in time for Valentine's Day chocolates! Then I'll be back to my regular weight.

| I started before the new year. DH and I have decided to renew our wedding vows in June (on our 15th anniversary) and I MUST fit into the dress I bought!

| I am always starting a diet and hate to admit it, because I rarely follow through. Have lost a few pounds since New Year's, though. Maybe this will be the year I really mean it!

| I lost 8 lbs and it has not even been a week, of course a lot of that was just the Christmas week stuff I pigged out on, but hey it beats a sharp stick in the eye and is making me really want to stay on track. I hope I can loose at least 40 lbs. Anyone read the new people issue, boy do I give those people credit so many of them lost more than 100 lbs, I will keep that issue by the fridge
