| Does anyone know of a computer program for this? I want to be able to download a picture of my house and put different finishes on it to see how it will look. I found one that will let me do some of that but it is limited and, even though I downloaded my own photo, I never could figure out how to find it so I used a pre-programmed photo that was similar in style to my house. Anybody know of a website or program I can download? Preferrably one that is free online. I've searched but I don't search right or something because I never have much luck |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I found this article: Online tools that help you redesign your home - CNET Mobile There's free software but they say it's not nearly as good as some out there for sale. Have fun!

| Thanks Sherry but those seem to have programs for the inside of your house and I pretty much have that under control We may have the outside figured too...stone on the peak area at the front door, halfway up the front of the house around to the sunroom, then stone on the sunroom and the front of the garage. The rest of the house, dormers and garage would get either natural cedar wood shakes or the vinyl shake siding in a natural color. The new porch would be in the stone area at the front door with stairs going off of the front and one side, the trim and railings will be bright white and so will the window trim and flower boxes. I want shutters (or canvas awnings) too but they would be a contrasting color that I haven't decided on yet...maybe the shutters would be a grayish/charcoal color since our roof is black/gray multi colored...not sure what color awnings would be. The stone is natural brown tones with some gray running through it. How does that sound? |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Oh darn...I'm sorry. I assumed there'd be outside software too. Glad you've gotten it worked out. It sounds lovely. I love the roll out shutters. Be sure to come back & post a pic once you get it done or even as you are getting it done.

| That's o.k...at least you gave it a shot I'm not sure when we'll get to start on the outside with winter coming but I always take pictures when we do a project. We will probably work on the inside during cold weather. When we bought the house we had planned to flip it but our other house sold so we moved into this one and there are a few things I'd like to change. |
