| Some people are soooo rude!!! Today Maddie and I went to help a friend make divinity. We have gotten together to make divinity every year at Christmas time and now she has macular degeneration and blind, which breaks my heart...so, I end up making the stuff, but we have fun doing it. She and her husband are in their 80's...I lived next door to them for 20 years. While there and waiting for the divinity to set, I took Maddie out to go potty. Maddie ran over to an area and started sniffing. I went to look and it was a huge pile of dog poop! I picked Maddie up and looked around and there was dog poop everywhere...big poops! These people do not own a dog, but their neighbor does and allows his dog to go in my friend's yard. I was soooo ticked! I went inside and asked them if they knew their back yard was full of dog poop. They weren't surprised as the neighbors dog is always doing his thing there. I told them I was going to go out and shovel the poop unto the neighbors driveway, and that was fine with them, so I did! I scooped poop for a long time...and carried it to the neighbors driveway. I could have been nasty and just thrown it so it scattered all over, but I just put it all in the same area of his driveway. You should have seen the pile of poop in that man's driveway! Shame on him for having his dog poop in his neighbors yard. They are elderly and have stepped in the stuff and tracked it into their house. My friend can't even see if she's about to step in poop! I was so angry my blood was about boiling! I sure hope that idiot takes the hint when he sees the pile of poop in his driveway! Thank goodness we have no snow right now...all ours melted...yippeeee! It sure would be a mess next spring when the snow thawed if all that had been under it! Okay...so now I've vented...thanks for listening! Oh...one thing...the divinity sure turned out delicious! LOL

| Some people are really messed up. They're lazy and they're taking advantage of someone else's disability. They must know where they're dog poops, they probably trained it to do that by only not picking it up in that area or walking him over there. Thank god for angels like you who look out for others. You should stop by there later and make sure those neighbors didn't throw it right back over before it snows though. They could say they saw your dog there and blame it all on Maddie to everyone in the neighborhood. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | How inconsiderate of them. Some people just do NOT care as long as it doesn't affect them - they won't start to care either unless someone actually points it out to them - Maybe talking to them would help and explain about your friend ? What a nice person you are to do this with your friend - it must be so sad to see her like this....you must be very special to her...sometimes it's the little things that mean so much and it sounds like you are a very good neighbor.... Watch out for these Yorkietalk guys - they come up with some VERY Interesting ways to deal with lousy neighbors |

| If they keep it up, I'd check the law out. I know here it is against the law for a dog to be off leash unless they are in a private fenced-in yard or a designated off-leash park. (Which just made me wonder what the law is for these wireless fences that have become so popular around here? ) I know in my last neighborhood (there were condos that didn't allow fences on the next street over) the dog catcher would make regular rounds and take any dogs not supervised and ticket the owners of dogs not on leash. If the dogs is on a leash while messing in your friend's lawn - well that is just so wrong that they deserve whatever creative punishment that YTers come up with!

| I don't blame you but just make sure you check on your friends and make sure he didn't give them a hard time when he got home and saw that..he might actually have the nerve and be so stupid.

| How can people be so inconsiderate? Your poor elderly friends are being taken advantage of, and that's not fair at all. I hope he doesn't get mad at them, and comes over to talk to them...Even if he does though, he's the one that's in the wrong!
