| Did anyone watch "The war at Home" tonight? On the sitcom "the war at home" about 2 parents and their 3 very different children, there was mention of "yorkies" and also one shot of an actual yorkie tonight. The parents were in fear that their son was homosexual. (which i have no problem with, lol, just wanted to clarify before i go any farther!) Anyway, they said that their son would end up with his lover someday and send xmas cards of them in xmas hats holding their two yorkies. I laughed and laughed at that! Then they showed a quick shot of what they were picturing in their minds of their son holding a cute little yorkie. Turns out he wasn't homosexual at all, and was a funny show in general. |

| I saw it. My logan was watching it with us and he sure perked up when he saw that little yorkie. I just thought it was funny when they said him and his lover in santa hats holding there 2 yorkies in matching santa hats. However, it may be stereotyping that only gay men have yorkies and we know that that's not true at all.

| I watched it... I asked my husband if that was why he hated to be seen holding one of our yorkies!!! He's a big guy 6'4". He was once holding Rocky (who is 3 pounds) at the vets ... and some other guy comes in with his big "manly" dog.... My husband actually explained to the guy that Rocky was mine and he that he has a Black Lab at home. Must be a guy thing!!!!!! Oh... plus our last name is Gurley.... so my husband has taken comments about that all his life anyway.......
