| browsers We have always used explorer. I had put chrome on but never really used it. I tried it out some last night and was not impressed as facebook kept crashing. I deleted it and am trying Foxfire. I researched and they say these are better than explorer, with chrome being best. What do you use? Pros and cons please. Having to drag hubby to anything new, so it is an uphill battle when i want to change anything. Thanks

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I've been using Firefox for years now and much prefer it to Explorer. My son downloaded Chrome on the desktop but Firefox works so well, I never even tried Chrome. I finally removed it, after the son moved out. My computer doesn't crash using Firefox like it did with Explorer.

| I use Firefox the most on PC, and Safari on Mac. Chrome has some perks and some downsides. Internet Explorer is often called Internet Exploder. Many web designers would love to see it go away because it behaves so differently than other browsers. Opera is okay, but I don't know enough about it to understand any attraction to it.

| I love chrome and have never had any problems with it. I love how it puts a red line under anything I misspell and then if you right click it gives you options of how to spell it but I am a terrible speller. I also use google a lot and instead of going to google.com you can just enter the words you want to search where you would put a web address and it searches it on google and gives you the results. I also like how you can set the zoom you want the pages at and it will stay that way even if you shut down your computer and you don't have to reset the darn thing every time you use chrome.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | You shouldn't have to delete your Explorer, just go to the Firefox download page and download the newest version. You'll have an icon or tile on your desktop for Firefox then, just as you do for Explorer. I guess you could delete the Explorer if you wanted to, but I didn't

| I was a huge Firefox fan. Until they updated and I had nothing but problems. I have used Chrome every since then and I don't have issues at all.

| Used Chrome last year but had so much trouble saving some images, crashing movie sites and then couldn't copy and paste and save parts of webpages easily so gave up and uninstalled it. Plus I missed many of the old IE features I'd grown accostomed to. Haven't had the guts to try the new improved version. I'm thinking of Firefox but IE9 is not so bad. What troubles are you having with it?

| I have used IE, FF, GC, and Safari. Favorite is ff. Have to uninstall and reinstall though. Something is up with it on my MacBook. I like GC, but it seems sluggish or something, esp. when preprogrammed to open multiple tabs. Safari is ok but I don't like it nearly as much as ff. I only use IE if a site on a PC won't work on another browser. besides the fact that I think it is totally crummy, slow, and inadequate, at ne point it was the source for most viruses. And no way would I want to stick my bank account info anywhere when using it.
