My furkids Donating Member | could use some positive thoughts and prayers............. My daughter is expecting her second baby...she is due in 3 weeks. Although her blood pressure and water retention is better with this pregnancy she is losing fluid. It is being absorbed into her body. This happened with her first child. She was induced 1 week early and had a horrible labor. It has something to do with the placenta, not sure what. Her doctor told her she would probably have to be induced with this one too. (another little girl!! YAY!) I am worried about my daughter and don't want to see her go through this again. I was induced for my second child (many years ago) and, although child birth isn't a fun ride, being induced is the worse. The doctor feels she is going to go early. Although 3 weeks early isn't bad I pray she can have a natural birth... Thank you yorkietalk friends <3

| Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. I had the same issues with both my pregnancies and got lucky enough to go into labor the day before I was scheduled to be induced on my second daughter. I know you will all be relieved when the beautiful baby girl is in your arms and momma is resting better. Hugs

| Will definately keep your daughter in my thoughts and prayers (grandma too!) I know the ups and downs of being an at risk mom. 30 years ago I had a premie son - born at 32 1/2 weeks, a second son that tried to come at the same time but labor was stopped, and a daughter - my water was mechanically broken -- that was a real bummer. All three are wonderful, productive adults and the loves of my life! |

| Prayers for your daughter and baby. Is a c-section an option?

| Thoughts and prayers for your daughter and granddaughter. One of my friends was induced and the monitor that shows the contractions was off the charts! She was in agony and the contractions lasted so long I truly hope that your dd does not have to go through that again.

All three of my kids were c-section....its not fun at all! It is major surgery and the recovery time is much longer...if it can be avoided don't go there, go natural. I had no choice as my pelvis is small and my first child (daughter) did a somersault and wound up stuck ...she was too long to turn herself around. Found this out after 20hrs of hard labour and an x-ray when she couldnt/woudnt come down the birth canal. She was coming butt first and there was a chance her head would get stuck...so c-section. That was 27yrs ago, and back then, once a c-section always a c-section. Trust me you dont want to go there. Praying all goes well for your dd. Congratulations on your baby granddaughter to be!!
