| Medical Transcription Anyone here work in this field. I was thinking of going back to school and this is one of the things I'm most interested in. Looks like it takes as little as a year to finish, the pay is very do-able and it doesn't seem to be over-swamped with people that are in the same field. I've been searching online for more details before I move forward, just curious about personal experience. I don't know anyone in the field personally. |

| I used to do medical transcription for a hospital here in Hawaii. It was ok. If you can buckle down and not get distracted to easy then it could be for you. Depends what company you work for the pay can be ok. One of my good friends who lives here in Hawaii works for an online company. After I had my 3rd child I stopped because there was no way I could concentrate. lol I could have worked late at night but I needed my sleep.

| After a little more research, I decided it probably isn't for me. Still searching for something. |
