| Valuable lesson learned... I have had Roxie for nearly 3 years. I have washed her leashes in the washing machine a zillion times and never had an issue. Well, Wednesday I had an issue. The leash wrapped around the spinning mechanism in the machine and we cannot get it out. I broke the leash trying to get it out, so we had to go buy a new one. DH and I spent a large portion of yesterday trying to figure out how to take the mechanism apart in the hopes of remedying the situation. No luck. My dad is coming over today to see if he can help us. Hopefully we will be able to figure this out without having to spend lots of $$ on a repairman or a new washing machine. This one is only 5 years old! Lesson learned. I will not be putting Roxie's leashes in the washing machine again, unless maybe I tie them up in a pillow case or something.

| Ouch! I use those zippered mesh bags for anything that's long, like a robe belt, etc. I hope it's not too expensive to repair

| I hope you were able to get it out without a repairman. Just go buy a net bag to put things like that in and wash them. So sorry that happened.

| Thankfully my dad was able to fix the situation! All that it cost me was one leash. I do have one of those mesh laundry bags...I will have to make sure I use it next time I wash the leash!

| YEAH !!! I am so glad that your Dad was able to get it fixed. I would much rather pay for another leash than have to buy a new washer. I know your very happy about it.
