| Wicked cool! Yes i'm from the Boston area.... lol This morning pulling into work, I heard something behind me and saw a shadow and just ducked. A HUGE hawk landed about 5 feet from me.... picked up something from the grass and flew away. It was really beautiful and soooo cool to see! Glad it was not my babies but cool none-the-less!

| Yes..they are beautiful and all that....as long as they are NOT flying in MY airspace! I have had toooo many close encounters with hawks and owls to appreciate their "beauty".....I see them as Yorkie Eating Machines!!!!! |

Zachary's Mom Donating Member | Hearing too many stories recently about hawks and owls too. I am not "green" but I have to say we are taking away all these birds natural prey and they are being forced to get their food however/wherever they can. Sad all the way around. Louise |

| My boys are 8lbs and 14lbs... not sure a Hawk could pick them up, but I certainly don't want to test the theory! We've had them flying over our house, one day we had one swooping so low we had to bring the dogs in. It definitely targeted them. It stayed over head swooping and screaming for almost 2 hours after that. Poor dogs just stared at us outside in the pool from inside the house! LOL
