| It was scary, lots of high winds and bad weather all around. I heard the warning sirens several times. DH was on his way home from work on his motorcycle. Fortunately, he was able to take cover at a gas station. He said several cars in the parking lot of the store next door had their rear windows broken out, just like the one shown in the video link.

| Glad your DH made it through okay. I saw some of those damaged cars & skylights on the news! Wow! My area got some small hail & lots of good rain. After the earlier spring tornadoes and yesterday, hope we are done for the year!!!!!!!

Zachary's Mom Donating Member | The wind split our 13 year old Crape Mertle right down the middle here in Houston. It could NOT be fixed so for now, we have a half a CM. If it doesn't come back, we will replace it. And wouldn't you know, it was FINALLY flowering beautifully. Louise |

| YIKES! There has been some CRAZY weather lately! I went to VA 2 weeks ago and of course while I was there, they had thunderstorms sooo bad! It went for 11 hours straight non-stop thunder & lightening and heavy heavy downpours. But no hail and we didn't lose power. We had candles ready to go just in case though. The scariest part was, the tornado warnings. My bro is military and he kept getting alerts from the military weather advisor. A tornado touched down 4 miles from where he lives! The only tornado to touch down was in Hampton... where I was visiting! uuuggghhh just my luck! LOL It was SCARY! we were watching out the windows at the clouds swirling and forming over his house, but luckily noone was hurt at all. The tornado started as a water spout that came up onto the road for .3 miles and went back into the ocean and broke up.
