I could sit around all day and figure out your password. Then I would go to your email and see what nasty stuff I can send to all your contacts. And then to make it extra special, I will change your FB password and link bad videos so all your friends can see them.

But to really make it good, I will get your cell phone number and send you text messages and charge your bill $9.99 per month even though you never asked for them. But watch out, I will be well practiced and when you email me a hateful message I will laugh as I tell you that you entered a PIN number in the site that was sent to your phone via text message. Then when you get all your phone numbers that sent you messages and find out that mine wasn't one of them, I will just ignore your emails. See how this game works??? Oh and BTW there isn't a darn thing you can do about it!

You might want to put a watch on your credit, make sure you have no spyware on your computer, and then change your passwords on important website accounts (like amazon, paypal, etc). Just make sure not to do it from an infected computer.

Oh my gosh, Rhonda! This is awful! When did this happen? I have been taking my mom around town today. I have been away from my computer and did not get my phone out all day.

I have been talking to the jerk on email. He claims to have sent me a PIN number and blah blah blah. I did not receive a stupid pin number. I told him what a stupid jerk he was and that I was going to report him to every agency I knew! He don't care. He got his $9.99 out of me. Here is my response to him:

"I had my phone all day. I NEVER received a PIN. Your attached "Proof" doesn't show anything that I agreed to. I will report your scamming to every agency I can. Google your number sweetheart. You are a SCAMMER. You are all over the internet as a scam! I am turning this over to my lawyer. Don't you ever send anything else to my phone. Remove my number and put it in writing that I am not nor have I ever authorized you to do this. I guess it must be nice making a living ripping people off. How do you lay your head on your pillow at night? Remove my email and my phone number immediately. Hopefully a government agency will do something about you and your way of life. "



His reply:

"Your mobile has already been blocked from the service. No further messages or charges may apply."

My reply:

"Good, guess you can't rip me off any more than. "

I understand your frustration.

I talked to a guy the other day about collections and somewhere in our 43 minute conversation he asked "does this sound like something you'd be interested in?" and I said yes. Rhonda I am so sorry you are having to deal with this. My hotmail account was hacked twice and stupid emails were sent to all of my contacts. It is so scary how easily these hackers and scammers get access to your emails, passwords etc.
We just took a course on email and internet security at the bank. I thought I was pretty up to date on how to keep my computer protected. I learned a lot from the course. One of the main things is changing your passwords frequently and using lots of symbols and numbers along with random letters. I always have used those combos but usually use a name or word instead of random letters. (easier for me to remember but easier for a hacker to figure out).
Another tip we learned was to have at least 3 email accounts. One for friends and family, one for paypal ,ebay etc and one for business stuff such as your online banking.

Also I removed my cellphone number and checked the security section where email notifies me of any changes... all changes (including the 'new' passwords) were being sent to my idiot. But I also have their email now and reported them (what good that does IDK). Also I never repopulated my address book, I just save a ton of emails in another folder and do a search to get an address, PIA I know but it prevents my friends from getting abused. Nice when my 90 year old Mother gets an email stating to send money, I am stuck in Spain and broke. Good thing she knows I wouldn't leave the country without telling her first!

Also, report it to the police, my county has a computer crimes department and they could find the idiot. Then you could get a class action suit against him with all the folks he's scammed and sue his butt and put him in jail.

I reported the site to the FCC. I don't know if it accomplishes anything or not. I am thinking of changing my emails, closing out my FB, and changing my cell phone number. We communicated 9 times with each other by email. My last email told him he better not ever send anything else to my phone or email. And that I was seeking an attorney. He royally pissed me off! I can just see him smuggly sitting behind the computer screen. He knows there is nothing I can do. Because it isn't worth me paying $500 for an attorney for $9.99!! I just don't understand. They don't care who they do it to. It amazes me.

You can take him to small claims court and represent yourself. Sounds like you have a fraud case. Maybe you can get a $5000 return on your 9.99 investment

The deal is, how many people catch it immediately? I bet on most people he gets by with a few $9.99/month.

I did run scans on everything. It came out clean. I think it all started with gmail getting hacked. And went down from there. And yes, a MAC is the way to go. I may do that on my next computer!
