| Dehydrator My dehydrator just came in . I have like no treats in the house for the fur babies. I can't wait to pick it up Watch after all this built up the dogs won't eat them. I am sure I will be asking tons of questions later. I did not get a very expensive one though. If they love it I know I will upgrade once I wear the machine out. Wish me lick

| Good "licks!" What kind did you end up getting. I have been considering one too. I can't wait to see what you do with yours and how you like it.

| Ahis_Mama- It is a Nesco- Dehydrator and Jerky maker. Carmen- Get motivated. Your guys will love it. It was so easy- Cut the chicken into 1/4 strips, place on trays, turn to highest setting, and go. Just took 1st attempt at homemade chicken jerky strips was a success- All the fur babies took turns going into the kitchen and crying at the counter it was on. Made with 100% human grade chicken breast. I got a late start because I had to doing errand and then take Buddy to training. I would have been done sooner but I kept opening to check on it. I may not cook but I can now proudly say I make dog safe chicken jerky strips. They taste pretty. Yes I ate some too purely for quality control purposes. The jerky looked so good I had to taste it. I put in the fridge to keep them from spoiling and am also afraid the cats and dogs will countersurf to get them.

| I'm thinking about getting one for sweet potato discs and chicken. How long did it take with your chicken? I make chicken 'jerky' in the oven, on a pizza stone. On a low setting, that takes about three hours.

| Go Carmen Go For It Quote:
The Official Online Store for Nesco Dehydrators My dehydrators came with recipes. I may get a Jerky gun down the road. You also just cut meat into 1/4 inch strips and dehydrate that way.
