| Do you feel the need to 'Get Ready' when you Skype?!! Good afternoon As some of you know, my son lives in Vienna - and he sometimes Skype's me instead of emailing or phoning me. But it bothers me - and I'm beginning to realise why - I feel I have to 'get ready'..... I never know quite where to look....I actually combed my hair last time ...and sometimes I even clean the dining room (where my computer is) when I know he's going to call!!!! Do any of you feel like this - or is it just me? Sally x |

| I don't Skype either but I would totally "set the stage" & call for "hair & make-up" prior to my production!

| Oh, it wouldn't just be me then.... The other evening, I changed my sweater, and Andy said to me "Is Simon Skype-ing you this evening?" And I said "Yes, I was wearing this one last time"..... And then I realised how totally nutty I sounded....!!! Sally x |

| LOL I don't skype, but I do facetime with my mom with our iphones. I always clean up the house and get ready because she likes to watch the dogs run! I spend an hour cleaning for a 5 minute call LOL.

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | LOL...make that three of us (at least!). I do Skype with friends sometimes, and my sister. The friends are not close by, so I can see straightening up the room, and running a brush through my hair; but, for my sister?! She has seen me in every possible state! When we Skype, we (both) are always messing with our hair, making excuses...LOL

| OMGosh...YES!!! Both my kids are on the other side of the State, away at college. They'll wanna skype late at night when I'm in my jammies, no make-up, hair tied up...looking quite the mess. They'll say, it doesn't matter, they don't care how I look, they just want to talk, and when I do skype looking like that, you can guarantee someone (roomate, roomate's friend, my kid's friend, etc.) will stop by and say "you you talking to?" To which they'll reply, "My Mum. Wanna say hi?"
