| Does anyone want to join me for husband bashing? DH has really taken great care of me since I broke my ankle 4 weeks ago. I have been mostly bed-bound and he is waiting on me almost hand and foot so I should be grateful for his behavior and not bitch about anything else but I NEED to vent. Last night as he was walking down the hallway our little blind shih tzu got in his path and he yelled at her to get out of the way. I heard her scrambling so I knew he made contact. No, he would never kick her he just wouldn't even try to get out of HER way. This is Cassie folks - the sweetest dog in the world. She is so hard of hearing she might as well be deaf so she didn't see or hear him coming. A little later I heard him yelling at the cat for being up on the counter. Now we agreed that there was no way to keep her off so we would just keep the counter clear and use the Clorox wipes before we used the counter, WTH? Touhy came running into the bedroom and jumped up in my lap. I said "Boy, Daddy's in a bad mood!" Then he comes into the bed room looking at me and demanding to know what I said. He heard me, he just wanted to confront me. I just told him that I hadn't said anything and stuck to that so I wouldn't give him ammunition for a fight. OK I feel better now. I really wish we had something like PMS to blame when they get bitchy. How about you? |

It's called SRH. Semen Retention Headache. Sorry, I had to inform you... I may have crossed the line there, but it's what I blame their bad moods on. I'm really sorry your Dh is having a bad day. I hope you get better so things will get back to normal for everyone. Hugs.

| I told my DH on Valentine's Day (when he proceeded to act like a total ass and I caught him lying twice) to get his *hit or it'll be on the curb when he gets home. We've been fighting alot lately, and I know it's because of finances and what not. But I'll get in on the DH bashing. Mine needs a sympathetic bash over the head with a tire iron!

| venting here is good for you!! your both under different circumstances with you having a broken ankle and all. and he has the right to be a lil moody and hes takin it out on those he loves which includes the furr butts. they hopefully will not remember it and he had a chance to get his grump out and you vented here....so what did the furr butts do in retaliation?? hehehe. good luck hope you are better soon!

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | My guess is that he is a bit stressed out over having to take care of you. I would make sure that knew how much you appreciate all of his hard work and talk to him about the way he seems to be taking it out on the pets. MEN.... the things we do for them, and when the roles are reversed all hell breaks loose !!! Maybe you could offer to do something "Extra Special" for him once you are back on your feet again!!

| Most days I would jump on the chance to join in.... but oddly enough I must say this week I haven't found a reason to bash the bf (living together for 4 years, might as well be a DH). But I think he just crawled out of the dog house on V-Day, and got extra brownie points. I'm sorry your DHs are in bad moods... I agree totally with the SRH... I have another term for it, but I'm not sure it it's allowed on here

| Could be worse. He could be the one bedbound with a bum ankle and you having to take care of him. Of course then you wouldn't be on here venting, we'd be taking up a collection to bail you out of jail. But don't worry, they'd never convict. Justifiable homicide. |

| Depending on the mood, DH can mean Dear Husband or Damn Husband.

| Oh now see, heres where you made your 1st mistake: When you said daddys in a bad mood, what you should have (Yelled) was daddys being an A$$ tonight. |
