Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Christmas Shopping Ideas? Morning Y'all! Happy Thursday! Quick question for you... I'm sitting here this morning writing down my last bit of Christmas list shopping to do. I need to get something for my sister in law and not sure what. I thought I would ask you guys' advice. She is 29. She is pregnant with her 2nd child now. She is due in April. What should I get her for Christmas? I was thinking of getting her something to help out with the baby. Maybe one of those nice nursing pillows? Or maybe some Bath and Body Works stuff for bubble baths? I am going to get something for the baby too, but separately. Maybe an outfit or a blanket. But I wanted to do something nice for her too. I just am not sure. She doesn't need baby books. She already has those. Any ideas? Thanks guys!

| I have a great idea. Do all of your shopping using the Amazon link on the Yorkie Haven Rescue Home page! Save time and Money, and Amazon donates a % to the Rescue. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I don't know how you feel about this, but for me, my favorite gifts are pampering gifts. Is there a "Massage Envy" close by? They do sell gift certificates for 1 hrs. massage for about 40.00.Another option is a certificate for mani and padi at a beauty place of her ( or your) choice. That way she could enjoy some ME time and be all dolled up before the baby arrival...and God knows she wont get to have time for herself for a while

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | My daughter has two children with the youngest being five months. I would buy the baby diapers it really helps mom and dad out. And maybe a new outfit they grow out of things so fast. And then I would buy mom something like a massage or a gift card to get her hair done. Something just for her. A little time away. Moms never take time for themselves. And are nervous to leave but usually enjoy a little pampering. Good luck on the right gift

| Does she like candles? Scentsy are flameless candles, so safer for someone with kids or if someone doesn't like the soot and smoke. https://elizabethcampbell.scentsy.us/Home My friend who just ha a baby loves the Nursery Warmers and the Scentsy buddies with the Newborn Nursery scent. Her nursery smells awesome! And it's affordable! You can get a warmer and scent for $25! A Scentsy Buddy with a Scent Pak is also $25. Good luck with your shopping! I just finished mine last night! :-)

| I think bath and body stuff would be nice. My cousin just had her baby shower and she did something different for her baby shower that I thought I would share with you and you could pass on to your sister if she hasnt had a shower yet or even something for her to request for family gifting. She asked everyone to include a childrens book with a label on it with the purchasers name on it instead of cards with her gifts so she could later read books to baby and let them know who bought it. Everyone got really creative on the book giving and she got all kinds of neat books. I just thought that was a neat idea because what do you do with cards but read them and throw away but this gave her a keepsake

| A gift certificate for a pedicure. Nothing pampers third-trimester tootsies and a tired mom-to-be like a pedicure!

| For her: pedicure manicure - feet get swollen and it's harder to reach if you know what I mean. Great facial creams - things to stay moisturized. Gift certificate to a shoe place (sometimes feet swell and it's nice to have nice shoes in larger sizes). Gift certificate to have her house cleaned. That could be a real winner. In regard to bath stuff - keep in mind that pregnant women shouldn't have baths over 99 degrees so if she doesn't mind cooler baths, that would be a good gift. I like hot baths so I pretty much stopped and only did showers when I was p. For the baby and her - I really recommend a nice swaddler. I just purchased one from someon on Etsy and it was beautiful and the mom to be was thrilled. |

| I'd try to find her something she really likes-a dvd, cd, movie tickets, her fave lotion, etc. As a mom, & especially when you're expecting another one it's hard to 'justify' buying yourself anything just for you. But if you do it I'm sure she'll love it. If you're able/interested, something I've added to my sister's gifts before are 'coupons' for free babysitting. Maybe to be redeemed the day/night she enjoys your gift.
