| Cat and eye infections My cat, Dora, is about 9 months old. She has already had at least 4 eye infections. It seems like she gets them on a regular basis. I have an eye ointment(it starts with a V) that is a prescription from the vet. Whenever it runs out I have to take her back to the vet to get more of the ointment. Does anyone know of an over the counter ointment that may work when she gets the infection or a preventative ointment or cleaner to stop her from getting these infections or possibly a natural remedy for eye infections. Any information would really help!!! I am asking, because some of you may know how difficult it is to take a stubborn cat to the vet.
