| My son the teacher (sub) I very excited today. My son graduated college in May and 2 weeks ago he was approved by the board of education to be a permanent substitute teacher at a school district here. Today is his first say subbing at the High School. He said it feels weird because he feels like one of the kids. lol

| I wish him the best... sub has to be one of the hardest jobs, but he will learn a lot about classroom discipline for sure!

| Very cool! I'm a substitute teacher as well (and young), so I know where he is coming from! I'm subbing at a high school today and I constantly get asked "How old are you?!" and I tell them "Old enough." It really isn't as bad as people think if you have classroom management skills.

| He texted my daughter and told her that security came into the clasroom and said, "oh no teacher in here?" The lunch lady asked him to put his PIN number in to buy lunch. He thinks it's funny. In all actuality he is 5 yrs older than the seniors in the class. They like him though cuz I think they can relate to him. He looks like the rapper guy Mack Miller so the kids keep asking him if he is this guy!! lol

| Congratulations to your son on his graduation and becoming a Substitute Teacher. It is so good hear that we have another male role model for our youngsters. Subbing is hard work! |

| It is very hard but he has such a way with kids. I don't know how to explain it. He can relate to them I guess. He makes them want to have him for a sub. I am very proud of him. My baby has grown up right before my eyes. He still needs his mom though. He wanted me to go with him to the doctor today because he has a ear ache. He still needs me!!

I have to laugh at your next statement about the ear ache. I remember when I first got married and I had an ear ache. I was hurting so bad. My DH came and asked what he could do for me and I told him to call my momma. She came right over and took care of me. I am 40 years old now and I still need my momma. He will need you for many more years to come.
