| Halloween Contest Well I am dissapointed in the way things were judged. I am not talking about the Winner- I think the Hooters Girls were very cute and should have won. I am talking about the rest, I don't think some of the people who won should have. Some of the contestants had really cute customes that were very thought out and were not original that didnt make ANY place. I don't understand how you pick what "you" think is the cutest, then from there make your own category. If that is the case it should be called " Yorkie Talk's Cutest Contest." The categories should be in the system before there is a contest. That is how most contest work. We all know there are "favorites" on this site, I think when it comes to something like this they float to the top. It is sad that this forum has the ability to do a contest and things are obviously rigged. I am not saying this because Peanut didnt win anything- I honestly think there were a lot better customes than Peanut so don't take this like I am jealous or anything like that- It just really bothered me how things were handled and I will not do anymore "contest". I know some people didn't even enter the contest because they know they will not win- that tells you something right there.

| I have to agree. I think the categories should have been made before the contest not after to fit them in. I also think there were some very cute babies in their costumes. Alot of people put much thought and time into their costume and backround. I agree that it must have been very hard to decide on the winners because they were all cute. Maybe if there are categories like scariest..funniest...things like that.

| Wow someone responded- didn't see that coming! I agree with you 100%. I know things will not change, but I had to voice my opinion! I know most people will not, but I'm glad you did.

| It is hard to make everyone happy. I have sympathy for admin and the judging committee, because something like this can cause hurt feelings at times, and that puts them in a tough position. As for favorites, I noticed that some people won who I had not even heard of much (not that I'm a real regular poster myself.) So, I don't honestly think it was a 'favorites' thing. There are only so many prizes, so I guess it is hard to award everyone who deserves to win...and YES, they all deserved to win because they are all so cute. It's a tough position to be in. I hope anyone who had their feelings hurt feel better soon. Everyone's pups are winners!!! (And your little mummy was just precious too!!) I wanted to add, the "made-up categories" always make me smile. I look forward to seeing what category will be assigned to each winning costume. Its cute to me.

| i think the one thing that would make the contest lots better is if more people would donate prizes. our raffles we get tons and tons of prizes out and lots and lots of people win those. the halloween contest this year didn't have near the variety and amount of prizes so it's hard to give a prize to everyone that deserves one when you don't have them to give. i agree about preapproved categories but understand that they can't always have catagories if they don't have the prizes enough to keep those catagories. also if they did say 10 major catagories and that year got 20 prizes donated what are they supposed to do with the extra 10 prizes. i think that's why it's easier to select an overall winner and then select their own favorites and give them a prize and name them whatever they like to name them. maybe next year they can have people apply or a drawing to be on the judge's panel so it's even less biased and then that panel of 5-10 people can pool their personal votes in together. thanks for the feedback and hopefully YT always takes all concerns and feedback into consideration and continues to improve and expand all their fun contests and programs! |

| I'm new to YT and this is the first contest I've seen, but what about a contest where everyone votes and gets one vote like the polls? Does that ever happen? Just curious. |

| Well I think if we had categories it would help a lot! I thought all of them were cute, but I think some people put more time and effort into it. If we had " most scary" " most funniest" it would be easier and I think it would have less people upset bc it would be somewhat fair. I understand about the prizes, maybe they can do something different- I'm not sure what. I think the fun is thinking of something and making it come to life- dressing Pnut up gettng the background and etc- its not always about the money.
