| Sandusky and Paterno Case What do you guys think of the disgusting Sandusky and of Joe Paterno retiring after this year due to not reporting Sandusky right away?? Key dates in the Penn State Nittany Lions sex abuse case - ESPN |

| Although JoePA should have went to the police, I still respect him for at least telling someone, but obviously more should have been done. Sandusky on the other hand...ugh...my hearts go out to the kids who were the victims of this sick man. I just could not even imagine how they must have felt at the time and even today. Ugh. And just WOW to the Penn State Administration for covering things up.

| I do not get the Asst Coach who walked in, saw a grown man having intercourse w a child in a shower, and did not call 911.

| What a great football coach - but what a flaw in his character! I know that he did what he was "required" to do but to not follow up on it - ever - is almost unbelievable! How could he not think about it every time he looked at that man? Disgusting! Do they really think we believe that it was never talked about? Men talk just as bad as women. I think everyone that knew anything should be charged with accessory to child molestation! I don't mean the people who reported it like the aid or janitors - I mean the ones who could have done something. They all contributed to those boys being raped/molested by not doing something to stop/prevent it from happening. It's just so disheartening to see this happening so much. I used to think that it was just that it's being publicized more now - but I no longer believe that. I believe that our society has been soo soft on this and child abuse/neglect that it is happening more often. They know nothing will happen to them. It used to be that if you did a crime against a child that the prisoners would "take care" of them but now there's no room in the prisons. So where does that leave them... back on the streets! There have been some documentaries on pedifiles(?) lately. The one I saw interviewed about 6-7 of them. They all said that they would probably do it again and that they needed to be stopped. You can't stop them if they're on the street. Oh - I think Paterno should resign now - not after the end of the season.

| The entire administration should immediately be fired. That incluses the Presidend, AD, Coach and any and all assistant coaches that were aware. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | This just made me sick to my stomach, my heart goes out to those boys and their families. I've always respected and admired Joe Paterno and could not have been more shocked hearing he had reported the crime only to his superiors but not the police. I agree with Steve and Connie.....they need to lose their jobs and now, not after some 6 month long investigation as to "who knew what and when". When it comes to this specific crime (rape) and kids, there is NO gray area for me....lock them up first, we'll discuss it later....in court!!

| I agree!!! Paterno should leave now, not at the end of the season. Really shows where the priorities are...football game vs the welfare, abuse and health of a child

| Honestly I will be surprised if JoPa stays until the end of the season. Look what happened to Tressel over free tat's and players selling their stuff. Both are wrong but are on totally different levels. I feel so sorry for the victims and bad for the current players as now they are the "tarnished" team of the year.

| The guy that saw the rape taking place should have body slammed the rapist, knocked him cold, rescued the boy and called the police. Nothing more to be said.

| Agree Jilly, I heard a discussion about this on Mike and Mike in the am. They were saying, How can you just walk away and do nothing while the incident is going on. I believe the problem with soceity now a days is no one wants to get involved, have ramifications at work, get sued etc. I am not a big girl, but I would have ran and started beating the crap out of Sandusky and figured out the rest later.

| The men I know would have taken care of Sandusky on the spot and saved that kid and then called the police. There would have been no hand-wringing or Saturday morning trips to the coach's house to report it.
