| Some stuff I have been working on for my halloween costume I am adding to my costume from last year. I was missing far too many props. This is a mini hat I finished a few days ago. It's got a pheasant feather that I cut down into three, a couple hatpins I made and a mini sextant replica. I did pleating on the underside of the brim. It's hard to tell in the pics.

| Here is a pic of both of my guns. I am trying to design a holster for the bigger one, but I want a holster that doesn't cover up the whole gun. Any ideas?

| This hat is not part of my costume but I never posted pics of it. This is the hat I made to wear for the Pirates 4 premier. I had not seen the movie yet at the time, but in the movie you see the Black Pearl in mini form, which I had on my hat so it matched, and used some tulle as smoke. LOL Also the dangles on the side in homage to Capt Sparrow. My hats are made from scratch, not purchased hats that I decorated. I taught myself millinery and I'm very proud of them.

| Haha! I'll try to dig up our pic from last year, and you can see where all this new stuff will go. I also made a bustle overskirt that I will wear over my pants. However I didn't take pics bc the dressform I have is now *much* smaller than I, so it doens't look so good on the form. But will take pics in full gear when the time comes. Oh here is the pic from last year.

| You know I never keep a log of how long it takes me to do one project. I just remember how many days, and I work a few hours a day. That one took about 1 1/2 weeks. The pleating took a lot of time and patience. I also design as I go, so that takes up some time too.
