Ok, as you know I will be getting a digital camera for Christmas.. but my question is,,what kind of basic things do I need on my computer to download pictures,,, My computer at home is really basic,, no programs,,, and mine at work isn't much better.... SO... what type of windows,,or other programs will I need,, I wont be doing anything fancy,,not printing them,, just basically emailing and YT,,,for now.. My thought is I can always go to WM or other places and print the ones out I like,,but as far as Emailing and YT,,,what do I need? I'm so Computer Illiterate!!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Sweetie - I highly recommend using the PixResizer program AFTER you download your camera pics - when they come out of the camera they're huge - many camera programs let you export and resize at the SAME time to your folder called MY PICTURES - that's great - but if they aren't resized ...you can't post them What I do is CREATE new folders called RESIZED PICS in the MY DOCUMENTS folder - then.... when I export or resize my pics - I know they're right in there - these are for uploading only and it's easy to keep track of your pictures that way because you don't have to search thru all your originals - If I knew the camera program you're using I could help you better - |
