| My young, naive sister-Yikes! My baby sis (just 18) posted a pic of a pup on fb the other day. Her & her bf "co-own" it. He's a dachshund. Very cute...but...they got him at the Flea Market! And...he was completely infested with fleas-they could see them all over him! (Princess just had them terribly & unseen, can't imagine how that baby felt!) And...he's only 6 weeks old & was $75. No, he's not a yorkie, but he doesn't deserve that regardless! I never "schooled" my sis on getting a pup because she's never, ever said she wanted one. She has a huge heart & I think that's what she goes by most of the time. I guess Princess will have another 'cousin' once he's vetted & I know she'll love that.

| It's sad to hear about the little pup's condition; but thankful it's been rescued and in the arms of someone who hopefully will give it a lifetime of love.

| Yes, no doubt about that! I think she's the sweetest girl I know. And the pup is already potty-ing outside (for the most part).

| Poor pup had to go to ER vet last night. He got subQ fluids, anti-emetics & antibiotics. I also saw he doesn't even have all of his baby teeth in. It just really annoys me that someone can go sell pups (esp. too young) at the dang flea market! Glad my sis is on top of it, but it's really stressing her out, understandably.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sorry to hear the little baby was so sick. There needs to be laws against selling puppies at flea markets etc. It sounds like your sister is responsible and loving so he is in good hands.

| Sad news. One of my sister's called & she was taking my lil sis to take 'Bullet' to be PTS. The regular vet saw him & he is both positive for worms & parvo. The worms aren't fatal, but it's just proof the ER vet didn't even do a fecal or anything. They said she could treat him in-hospital or at home w/subQ meds but he is so small & in such bad shape they said his chances were slim to none. My mom (who sis lives with) has 3 dogs & Princess has been around the pup as well. I called the vet & they said Princess should be protected since she had her boosters in June. They said to just watch for any abnormalities. They said my mom's house & yard will be infected for 6 months-should I just keep her away from there the whole time even though she's UTD on all shots? So sad.

| That's heartbreaking. Hugs to your sis, she must be devastated.
