| Does the Government owe YOU money? A friend at work showed me a very cool website where you can claim your unclaimed property. It is now becoming addicting to search people I know and find their money they have not realized that they were owed. go to www.naupa.org to search for your state and name while living there. Search married name, maiden name, spouse and family members names. there are lots of people who never realize that their unclaimed refunds are now at the state government office. get your money today!! |

| I work at a bank, and if an account goes dormant (no activity) for 7 years, we are required by law to turn it over to the state. They hold it until it is claimed. You wouldn't believe the number of accounts that people have that they forget about or are not aware of the laws on dormancy. All it takes is one deposit or withdraw a year to keep an account active.

| It is legitimate. I checked it out recently and found something in my father's name. The inquiry is complete, so we are waiting to find out if he forgot about 5 cents he left in some account long ago.

| haha 5 cents is a low number. my father in law doesn't want his dollar he's owed, but some people have 50++ in their unclaimed property. i would defin be going after that money in today's economy. |

| Well, I'm still hoping that some friend left dad an estate that he didn't know about. We'll see. It's probably a utility deposit that he forgot about when we moved from one state to another.
