| I guess we have a cat! The previous owners of our new house apparently had a cat! The realator told DH that the owners said if we wanted her to leave her some food and water outside!! They cant take the cat with them!! UGH Some people!! First of all how can you leave your cat!! I dont care what happens if you cant take them with you, then find them a good home!!! You dont just "hope" the new owners of your house takes care of the kitty!! I honestly didnt "think" she would come around, I didnt "really" want to take in a cat. I thought she was more of a stray... But then!! I saw the kitty the other day, she is all black!! Beautiful kitty!! She wouldnt come to me Then today Pnut and I were out in the backyard, she came down the hill, I called her, her name is Sabashtion, She came up to me and meowed, and let me love on her...As I was petting her I felt all her bones, she is sooooooo skinny!! I felt so bad for her! So I gave her a dish of water and some chicken and rice I made Pnut! She ate it up!! Not sure what to do, My front door smells like spray! She also pooed in the backyard soooo I dunno, I feel bad for her, and I am not sure how long she will last outside with Coyotes , snakes, and hawks and all the other dangers of outside, but I really dont want spray around my house and cat poo everywhere! What should I do??

| I would try to find her a home if you don't want an inside kitty. Also make sure Peanut can't get to her poop. We are kitty sitting our youngest sons indoor cat and I have to keep the cat box where Jada can't get it. She loves to raid the litter box and eat Max's poop..ewww. It made her sick the one time she did get in it.

We live in the country and you are right. There are critters that will get her. I lost one cat to the critters and so I brought our other cat inside. We just don't have a choice. Maybe you can find her a home. If she is not fixed, you will have more cats before long. So, I would make my decision pretty quickly. Good luck with her.

How could you ever leave a face like this...lol little stinker...The treats have been disappearing out of my bag...I couldn't figure out how until I came down stairs, just so happen to have my camera in hand and busted Baby big time...LOL...I swear mommy I didn't take them. last picture is Milo...they are littermates.

| I wanted to find kitty-baby a home. ( I renamed her Kitty-baby) She is just the sweetest thing!! Whenever I am outside she comes and rubs on me, she will even sit on the hillside (out of Pnuts view) and hang out when we are out there! This morning I go to my kitchen and she is looking in from outside from the door. I gave her a whole bowl of dry food last night and this morning it was bone dry!! I came home from the store the other day and as soon as I pulled up I saw her running over to me I am starting to love her! I feel horrible for her, she is so skinny too! I have been trying to plump her up by giving her wet food as she wants it! I took her to the vet yesterday to get her checked out. From what the Vet says she is about 4 years old, and she is spayed. (thank god) He de-wormed her and all that good stuff, gave her some vaccines. I am going to try to talk DH into making her a little kitty home ( like a cat house), where we can keep her locked in there in the garage. So she is safe and warm!! What do you guys think?

| Thank you for taking care of Kitty-baby! When I was a kid, this family moved next door, they had a cat. We had one too, but an indoor one. The little girl that lived there tormented the cat. The cat ended up hanging out at our house most the time. We were also feeding some strays that we occasionally saw. Well they ended up moving and guess what, they didn't even ask for their cat back! Better off for the cat, those people were horrible. I remember the girl handing me a bottle of god knows what through the fence and told me it was the cat's "medicine" and to spray it in his mouth. Yeah right. Anyway, we did have another cat growing up, and during the day he'd hang around outside, and when it was night time, we would call him from the garage/backyard door (His name was Rascal) we'd go "Raaaaaaascaaaaalll!" and immediately you'd see him come running full speed to us. and he lived in the garage at night. There he lived until one day our pediatrician said the reason why my brother had asthma was bc of the cat and my mom went and dumped him somewhere. I still haven't forgiven her for that. He was the coolest cat. Now that I think back, we still got cats after that, so now I"m thinking my mom told the dr to say that. hmmph. Anyway, I think you should keep Kitty baby!

| I say keep the kitty too. Sounds like she has adopted you already. Get her/him to the vet and make sure kitty is healthy and then have kitty fixed. That should help the spray problem. We have three yorkies and a kitty. Kitty rules the house and our furbabies love their kitty, she is part of the pack. We had the same situation as you and fell in love with our kitty. She indeed did adopt us. It was just another part of our ever growing family.

| I say love the kitty. We took one in about 10 yrs. ago...someone dropped the kitten off in the park across the street. I walked up and down the neighborhood knocking on doors and asking before coming to that conclusion. I then tried to find her a home...but fell in love with her. I took her to the vet, they said she was about 12 weeks old, healthy...we had her shots done and had her spayed. I'd never had a cat, never wanted one. Well...she was the best kitty. (One thing I can say about a cat, she never pottied in the house except in the litter box.) We had to have her put down because of kidney disease about a year ago. What a sad day. I learned to appreciate cats because of my experience with Kitty. I hope your kitty brings you as much joy as mine did. Shame on the people who left her. I consider myself a "dog person", but there are some special qualities about a cat that you can only appreciate if you own one
