| Who does he think he is?? My husband? As most of you already know,, I've had a rough few months. One thing after another! I have been really depressed and not caring too much about myself. Can't remember the last time I even put makeup on. I put a little on for my aunts services but cried it all away. Today I have another doctors appointment. And got up early to get ready. And for the first time in a while I really feel good! My heart still hurts but It's not at all like I have been. I took a shower and went to go get dressed,,,,, I have been wearing sweats and swearter or t-shirts with my hair up with a butterfly clip or in a bun. But to day I got out some old Levi's that I hadnt been able to get in for some time now and tried them off. They fit!!!!! And it's a good fit. Not only can I just button them up I can breath wearing them too. Even when sitting. I walk down stairs sporting my Levi's. Hair not up but down and fixed! full face of make up. (even lipstick) My girls just loved it but my son just looked at me. And the first thing that comes out of his mom is,,,,, why are you all fix up mom? Who are you going to see today? Where are you going? Are you going to take Cherish with you? So we go get gas before I drop them off at school and this guy smiled at me when going into the am/pm. Would know that my son got out of the van, came in and would not leave my side and even gave the stranger a dirty look. I can not believe how he was acting. My husband isn't even that bad!

| Ah that funny, hes a protective son,, that's a good thing. ( i think) Im glad you're feeling better,, I can sympathise,, that depression is the best weight loss plan there is,, I've been there! keep your chin up.. things will get better everyday.. Ps... Nothing better than getting in an old pair of jeans, that didn't fit!

| Awwww.. That sounds so sweet to me, Monica! Like he knows you've been hurting and wants to take care of you. (Of course he wouldn't understand that having a stranger appreciate how hot you're looking in you 'old jeans' can make you feel better, too!) Glad to hear things are looking up. You've been through a lot so it will take time. Big hugs sent your way!!

| I just talked to my husband and he's laughing. He said someone has to have mom on check! And yes the only one good thing about depression is the loss of weight.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | LOL !! Good for him !! Sons can be SUPER protective - my son Reid was like that till he was about 15 or 16 ...he would get Ticked OFF if someone acted interested in me - on the flip side - my youngest Brad would pick out the cute guys for me and announce it to the world. One of his first questions when he was little was - "Do you drive a corvette" ? lol - His big brother would get SO MAD.... I'm so glad you're feeling better girl !! You need to do that more often - give them all something to wonder about |

| As old as I am at my Grand daughter's wedding this past May; we're all having a good time in a group and this man says something to me....kindof a wise crack and there's Mike (my son) saying "Hey Don't Make Any Moves On My Mother" Geeeeeeeez We had so much fun that week end, we'll be telling stories forever. Sons and Mothers are just that way.............I'm really protective of him too. When he leaves to go back home from a visit here , I cry like a baby.

| Sons do like to protect their Moms. Glad to hear you can breath in your jeans. Depression just makes me FATTER. Size 1 what the hell is that?!!!! I couldn't even fit in that when I was a newborn.
