| We need rain!! Send the rain our way. We have wildfires burning all over the area. They're evacuating a lot of places. As of right now, my area is safe and not threatened. My sister and her family are evacuating to our place. I'll feel so much better when they're here. |

| Please take some of our rain! You can have it all!!! we're a little worried that we're all going to start growing mould :S. But on a more serious note, hope the fires start to die down and you get your well needed rain.

| How scarey! I hope you get rain very soon. There is a huge drought in Texas, Western Oklahoma, and even in parts of Kansas. It seems like there is no happy medium - just extremes.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Please DO..... last month it rained 28 out of the 30 days and this month it has rained about 12 out of the 15 days. This is just crazy...there are flooding warnings every other day it seems like and the farmers have not been able to do their planting. I cant mow my laws, it is slowly becoming a jungle. Uhhh rain sucks!

YT Addict | Hey Roxy I was just about to post about this! Slave Lake is burning to the ground as we speak, only one way out of town and traffic is too jammed/backed up to even get out. People are retreating to WalMart's Parking lot, beachfront, and big open wet/green feilds! Also the RCMP station burned down, hospital is being evacuated, and a truck stop has blown up. Also I'm in Peace River, two near by towns to the north of us have been evacuated to our ski hill, the winds will blow it towards us if it's not contained, Red Earth and Little Buffalo are coming to us! Red Earth is surrounded by flames now. Rigging companies have retreated to GP. Here's a pic of the traffic jam!

YT Addict | some more of what people are going through literally right now! giving up on the traffic jam and just parking their cars where ever they'll fit and hoping the fire doesn't get to them before they can get out. the last pic is the Slave Lake Wal Mart parking lot right now.

| That is really terrifying. I do hope you'll get some rain and please stay safe! Those pictures are something I wouldn't want to see in real life.

YT Addict | Town Hall of Slave Lake has also burnt down, along with the Ford Dealership, The Library, and Hosptial and hundreds of other buildings in town along with lots of townhomes and trailers. 3/4 of the town has either been burnt down or is on fire. At of 9:10pm tonight [Sunday] Thanks for thoughts during this time, prayer is def. needed from those who do. My town is currently untouched, but with friends and family in areas on fire it is hard to comprehend. 2500hectares and more have been burnt.

| Thank you all, we can really use the prayers for rain. I have been kept updated about the fire in Slave Lake. It's insane, I can't believe so much has been lost. My prayers go out to all those people. My sister and her family are safe at my place. The radio said High Prairie is in a State Of Emergency, we are taking in the people from the surrounding areas. Whitefish, Gift Lake and Atikameg have been routed to High Prairie and Red Earth has been evacuated to Peace River. I had to work tonight and it was crazy busy, we had people coming through all night. Highways are shut down all over. I hope the wind dies down and fires can be contained and put out. YT Addict | Yep, Slave Lake could very possibly be gone by tomorrow, and idk about Red Earth, I've opened my doors to any women and women with children needing showers and to change their clothes as well as a place to sleep for four. :/ It's so devastating. My husband works with Lesser Slave Lake Management and it's possibly he could be jobless when he comes home from guiding his bear hunts.

| AH! I am now hearing fire trucks and police heading out of town. I'm totally freaking out, hope a fire didn't start somewhere else. |
