| Changes... It's been a long time since I've been able to get online and enjoy yorkietalk. We've been building a house since last March, and we're finally able to enjoy it! Thank goodness for a family who can build houses! We're blessed! Nice to be back on yorkietalk besides just to look up something! It looks a little different, more sections maybe? State testing coming up too! Any other teachers gearing up?

Yep, we have the state testing this week. It makes for a long long week for us and the kids. The dreaded tests. They added a nice section to ours. 6 multiple choice questions, 3 minutes. Hmmmm what are we testing here. Lol. We all know the pain. Congrats on your new home! We built ours three years ago. Lots of hard work involved. But worth the payoff!!

| Our tests are next week! The house is definitely worth it! We were blessed to have his pepa (contractor) and his grandpa (masonry) help and save us tons of money. They both had their own businesses and still had their connections. We didn't contract out much, but we saved a ton on the things we did contract out. Luckily both sides of our families have built, so we had several bonding parties. To top it off we didn't kill each other! Stressful though! We still haven't closed yet, hopefully that's this week. I beginning to think the bank is enjoying the interest payments each month from us! Good luck on the tests this week!
