| Because I love animal so much.... Yesterday after work, I decided to visit my client who hasn't been doing well emotionally. (I work for human service agency). Her apartment was disaster and saw a cat trying to hide. She has many grandchildren and there were 5 of them chasing the pregnant cat. So I decided to lift her up and trying to comfort her. She seemed to like me very much. Every time I tried to stand up, she jumped back on my lap. So I was like "oh cutie..." (I do that to all cats and dogs).. Anyway.. I left her house and had to go home by two buses and one train. As soon as I left the house, my eyes started itchy, my throat started hurting, and I started having runny nose. It was just crazy.... By the way time I got home (it was about an hour) my eyes were full of tears, and looked like beaten up. My roommate gave me an allegy medicine, but she thought I needed to go to an emergency room. My eyes were swallon that much. It has been about 20 hrs.... my eyes are not as bad.. but I guess it won't get better any time soon. I will be wearing sunglasses for a couple more days.. who knows I might need to go to a doctor on Monday if it doesn't get better. I love cats, but I think I need to limit myself... otherwise I suffer a lot later..

| That brings back such memories.. I'm allergic to everything! Cats, dogs, trees, grass, pollen you name it... As a kid, especially in the summertime I'd be home with a warm washcloth over my eyes swollen shut because of my allergies...I'd itch my eyes to relieve the itchiness and yet it would make it worse. My body has been immune to allergy meds for so long and when I noticed my oldest son go through what I use to have to endure as a kid, I decided to take him and myself to an Allergy Specialist and get tested. It's been a few years now and now we only have to get monthly shots. (we use to have to do 2 shots twice a week). I still sneeze and sometimes my eyes itch but nothing like it use to be. Ever wonder if cats know or sense you are allergic and they want you to pet them even more? My best friend has cats and everytime I would go over to her house they would try to nuzzle up on my leg and get close to me. Funny thing is they wouldn't do that to anyone else!
