Decorating question We have an offer on another house and I have a question for those of you who enjoy decorating. The house has medium oak hardwood floors, doors and trim but my husband is getting tired of oak and would like to use cherry cabinets. Does anyone have cherry cabinets in their kitchen with oak floors and trim? I'm not ready to fully switch everything to cherry but I would like to find a combination of the two that would look nice. I would use granite for the counter tops...not sure about appliances yet...maybe stainless steel again.

My aunt has the opposite. She has oak cabinets and trim and recently put down a Pergo cherry floor. The combination looks nice together. Good luck with your new house!

Thank you. I think I might flip through a few decorating books and see if I can find a picture of the combination I'm looking for.
