| Brunswick Stew I am a HUGE fan of Brunswick Stew -- the old fashioned kind made with chicken, beef and pork, homemade broth and seasonings. I just bought a 3 gallon stock pot to make up a batch and would like some input on recipes. Maybe it's just me, but Brunswick Stew seems like one of those good ole fashioned foods that you have to add a little of this and a pinch of that and taste, taste, taste to get it just right. I'd appreciate any heavily guarded secret recipies your families may have. All recipes welcome -- I know how to "substitute for the 'possom, 'coon, rabbit, squirrel and other rodent type critters that are sometimes called for in the truly old fashioned recipes. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | I've never heard of Brunswick stew, but it sounds delish. Looks like your yorkies are excited about it too.

| Oh YUM! I love Brunswick stew. I've never tried to make it myself, so I'm hoping you get lots of good recipes here Cindy. I might decide to try one or two of them myself.
