| Painted Rocks Here's my painted rocks! My sister had given me a book on painting flowers on rocks and I painted one and then was hooked! I've never free hand painted before, but this was step by step instructions and anyone can do it! The hostas in the pics...my sister had these three big rocks along an entry and wanted hostas painted on them, so I did! She was thrilled...and I was rather proud. hee hee

| I've also decorated rocks...by decoupaging stuff onto them. They last for years in the outdoors. If you'd like to see that and some of my other things, like my mosaic bricks, click here: http://www.geocities.com/wildrose912/rocks.html

| What a pretty garden! And you don't have to worry about watering, or it being too cold or too hot for them to grow. And you don't have to weed! I think you have discovered the perfect garden!! |

| Waistfull...I am more than happy to give you the name of the book. It is authored by Lin Wellford and mine is titled Painting Flowers on Rocks. She also has lots of other books...painting animals on rocks is another book I got, but haven't tried yet! You are such an artist that you could create beautiful ones! If you do, you have to show us! Warning...it is addicting! Here's a link to Lin Wellfords site with all her books! http://www.linwellford.com/

| Those are gorgeous and a really good idea. Since I manage to forget to water my plants and I kill everything that I put in our flower bed, maybe I should just have a painted rock garden instead! Those are way prettier than my pathetic wannabe garden.

| They really are wonderful. I too kill all my flowers and plants. I will have to try this one. Thanks so much for sharing. I always enjoy hearing about new and creative projects. I am definitely not an artist but I do like to "dabble" in it though.
