| Security Tools Virus? Anyone know anything about this...how to remove it? It just happened when I visited a site about 1 1/2 hrs ago. It won't let me do anything on my desktop.

| if you don't have Malware Bytes I suugest you get it and run it, it should get rid of it. Malwarebytes I run Malware Bytes about once a week to make sure there is no malware on my computer.

| This is what I was getting when I had to call microsoft. They told me it is the worst virus out there. here is the number. 1-800-642-7676. It is specially for this. It tells you to run a certain scan but I could not do anything so I called this number and they spent three hours on the phone with me. You need to have your computer on and be in front of it when you call. Last edited by Sugar's Mom; 10-16-2010 at 06:45 AM. |

YT Addict | Oh my gosh! I had this virus a little while ago! It was terrible and I thought that my laptop was going to break because it looked so legit! I can't help you to much because my dad fixed it for me, but I'll try. He downloaded something called Combofix. Then from there I'm not really sure what he did but I would try to download it and follow any instructions if you can even get on the internet. The only thing I could do on it while I had it was go on the internet. No files, itunes, pictures, or my webcam. I couldn't even go on word pad without it saying it was infected.
