YT Addict | Make-up I model part time and have worked with many different make-up artists and stylists over the years. I have learned so much from them. I saw the post on BE make up and wanted to give my input and also ask what your input is. What is your favorite make up product? What left you disappointed? and why? Personal Make-up: Bare Essentials: Mineral Make-up When I tested this at their boutique I actually left with slightly red/irritated skin. Jane Iredale: Mineral Make-up JI is also great for sensitive skin and I love the full coverage their mineral loose powder offers. I highly recommend their primer. In fact I dont think you get the full effect of their make up unless you test out their primer too. Their cream eyeliner is amazing! I will not be buying any more Jane Iredale (except their primer and liner) as I can't wear it when modeling (I need to do my own styling on occasion) because mineral make-up leaves "steaks" in photos from the shimmer of the minerals. I also want to look my best in photos while out with my friends If im going to drop $ on make up it might as well be the best. Modeling Make-up Secret Weapon.... Make Up For Ever - HD Translucent Powder Available at Sephora. It is a very very very fine powder that is pretty much "photoshop in person" I set my foundation with this powder every time I wear makeup. Not only is it wonderful for digital photos (not so great with film) it looks amazing in person. Tip: If it lightens your skin or leaves white behind, mist face with mineral water. Right now I use Bobbi Brown Foundation. Bobbi Brown specializes in natural colors aka: foundation/powder I am waiting for FACE atelier foundation samples. FA foundation is supposed to be wonderful for aged skin/dry skin. Ok, I'm not that old yet but every little bit helps :P MAC - color color color!!! When using any type of color, blush, eye shadow, lip Mac will always be my go-to. it photos in true color. Make-up remover: I do have a heavy duty make-up remover but for the most part I use olive oil to remove my make up.

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Thanks for the tips. I dont wear much makeup, all I wear is mascara and I will go over my eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil to define them. Sometimes I will wear a little pink blush when I go out too. I used to wear a full face of makeup with foundation ect but I dont really think it suited me and made my skin look half dead when I removed it. Now I find a good moisturisor works wonders, I use vanishing cream by Lush cosmetics and I also use a camomile makeup remover which is really gentle on the eyes. Nice photos by the way!

I'm not wearing any make up right now. I pretty much only wear make up on the weekends or when I do photos.

YT Addict | Almost forgot brushes! I use Sonia Kashuk brushes from Target. They are the best for the money and have and awesome liner brush for cream liner. A good brush makes all the differance.

| I have eye liners and mascara from: Studio Direct Cosmetics Semi Permanent Indelible Makeup and I have their professional 12 piece makeup brush set. I have the Pure finish mineral powder and some blushes and eye shadows and a couple of lipsticks from Elizabeth Arden (the blushes, eye shadows and lipsticks were freebies when I bought Elizabeth Arden stuff) I like the Lip Inks from Lip-Ink International - Green Chemistry, Lip Stain, Liquid Lipstick, Lip Gloss, Sheer, Waxless, and Smear Proof And I have a lot of Arbonne eye shadows and blushes and lipsticks from when I was an Arbonne consultant. Also have a couple of kabuki brushes. I cleanse and moisurize my face daily and at night. Every now and then I use Calcium Betonite clay powder to make a face masque, other times I just use Elizabeth Arden's facial peel, but I like the Calcium Benzonite better.

| Thanks for the tips I wear light make-up everyday - foundation, mascara, lipstick, blush. I've very sensitive skin, most products break me out. I only buy a couple of brands I know my skin won't complain about them. They're mainly Make UP For Ever, Bobbi Brown, Nars and MAC (I'm a MAC addict ) |

YT Addict | FACE atelier OMG! I got my samples yesterday and WOW! As soon as my bobi brown fondation runs out I am going to make the switch. Had full coverage yet left the perfect dewy finish. I am so happy I tried it! With the make-up forever HD tans powder, it lasted all day.

| Are you referring to the Make-up Forever HD Powder that is pure white? I've tried that as I do have very fair skin. I liked it; but found it went on rather dry and I have extremely dry skin. Maybe I'll give it another try.

I am totally in love with this new FA stuff. I have combo (more on the dry side) skin. I got the 0+ and 0- colors too. You can add them to the foundation to create a perfect color. 0- is almost pure white. I tried them out as contour and highlighter and were absolutly perfect. I only use a tiny bit of the hd powder, start at the t-zone and blend out. I make sure I tap my brush a couple times before touching it to my face. You dont need alot of MUFE powder to get the effect. Its only ment to set your base.
