| I don't have fibroids, but I have a stabbing pain each month around my ovaries and the only thing that helps me is Darvocet. |

| I had Fibroids years ago.....i got a local & the Dr cut them out whilst looking @ them on a kinda tv screen,i was awake for the whole thing...i bled a little after but not much...The Dr just snipped them from my Uterus.....Maybe yours are different....anyway i have always had a strong thresh hold for pain... I have (5) children & had them all without any kind of pain intervention... But everyone is different....You should call your Dr maybe he could give you something stronger.. "good Luck" |

I had a couple of fibroids removed last year and I used prescription strength motrin 800 mg. also had pain pills from passing a kidney stone a few months earlier, I was able to manage mine with the prescription strength motrin. Have you also tried a heating pad to see if that helps. I would also sometimes take a hot bath as hot as I could stand it. I hope this helps and I hope you feel better soon.
