| Dont you just HATE when you see this on the street? I was walking with my friend to my favorite sushi place. When I spotted this lady walking 2 shi tzus. Something was CLEARLY wrong with one of them. Both back legs were stiff, at 1st it looked like the poor dog was walking with 2 wooden pegs as hind legs. So I continued to stand & watch. Then the dog started STAGGERING & his back started drifting to the side. He kept falling then getting back up quickly & falling again. So I looked at the owner to see what she was going to do & all she did was make an angry face & YANK at the leash, DRAGGING THE POOR DOG! At one point the shi tzu gave up walking & just sat down. The stupid lady CONTINUED DRAGGIN THE DOG while his butt was on the CEMENT! This PISSED me OFF!!! I wanted to approach her sooooooooo bad & ask her what the hell is wrong with her. But I didn't know if it was any of my business. Why do people get dogs if they don't know how to properly take care of it?!? I'm STILL mad about it.....I should've scooped up her dog & ran to the nearest animal clinic. I seriously can't get that disturbing picture out of my head. & to make matters even worst while walking home I keep seeing people yanking, tugging, dragging, pulling, & yelling at their dogs. none of which had on harnesses....they all had on collars.....so if u really think about it.....I've witness multiple animal hangings. Smh. What is this world coming to??? Last edited by Islandloverr; 09-10-2010 at 02:04 PM. |

| Unfortunately I'm the person that screams at the person dragging their dog- I just can't help myself. I feel like we have to speak up for those who don't have voices but my friends are always saying " you better watch it you're going to get killed" I just can't keep my mouth shut- people need to hear it and i will continue to do it |

| Thankfully I've never encountered anything like that, but if I did it would bother me terribly, too. It is heartbreaking the way some people treat little one's.

| That's horrible! I sort of had a similar experience where I saw I little 2 or 3 year old boy dragging a dog by the leash at one of my hubby's softball games. The dog was not hurt like it sounds like this one was but bottom line I couldnt beleive some careless adult was letting a small child drag a dog around. And this dog was on a collar too just being dragged around. I never could figure out where the boy's parents were, so mad!
